The Holiday season is quickly approaching which means it’s also gift-giving time! I love gift guides and getting great ideas for my loved ones. Here is Running – Disney – Travel’s 2019 Holiday Gift Guide for Runners! The next two weeks will be followed by Disney and Travel gift guides. This week is all about those crazy folks who love running! Coming from a fellow crazy runner, this list includes great items that any run enthusiast would love to have (including myself 😉 ) Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

GPS Watch
This incredible watch is the splurge item on the list. I cannot run without my Garmin GPS watch. This one has all the bells and whistles, plus you can load music and listen through wireless headphones! Amazing!
Wireless Headphones
I’ve been using very inexpensive wired headphones since I started running years ago. If I were to upgrade to wireless, these look like a great option! Water-resistant and great for runners! These would work perfectly with the GPS watch above 😉
Socks
I love Balega socks! These are thin and antimicrobial. Good for smelly runners’ feet.
Reflective Gear & Lights
Runners who run in the evenings need to be visible. Especially during the winter when it is dark out much longer. Make sure the runners in your life are safe!
Desk Calendar
Having something at your desk to keep you inspired is a great idea! This one is specifically for runners, perfect!
Bib Holder & Medal Holder
Anyone who starts racing (and then quickly gets addicted to racing) needs one of these! It’s a great way to showcase your achievements and stay motivated!
Fifty Places to Run Before You Die Book by Chris Santella
I was gifted this book and really enjoyed reading through it. There are gorgeous pictures and great details about all the amazing places to run!
Runners Cookbooks
If you have a runner who enjoys cooking, get them a great cookbook! I’ve said it before (check out my post about my Favorite Cookbooks for Runners), but I LOVE the Run Fast Eat Slow cookbook(s). For those looking to expand their cookbook library, the Runner’s World CookBook would be perfect!
Eat & Run by Scott Jurek
Reading about inspirational runners helps me stay excited about running. Eat & Run was one of the first books I read written by a runner, and it’s still one of my favorites. His story is inspiring, plus the recipes in the book are really good! (I’m not even a vegetarian or vegan, and I still enjoy them!)
Running Ornament
Feeling festive? Get your runner a cute ornament to commemorate a race or their love of running!
Buddy Pouch
This is an ingenious idea! The pouch clips right onto your clothes so you can carry your phone, ID, whatever!
Hydration pack
My husband would be very supportive of this addition! He strongly believes I should be drinking more water when I run. I have never run with a hydration backpack, but when it warms back up, I may need to consider it. I like that this one is affordable and minimalistic!
Epsom Salt Soak
There is nothing better than a recovery bath after a long run. Epsom salts help sore muscles recover after miles of pavement pounding! You can get a basic soak or go fancy and get a scented version. I tend to buy the non-scented and add my own oils for fragrance. It might seem simple, but your runner will love you for this gift!
There you have it, my 2019 Holiday Gift Guide for Runners! Don’t forget to read my “Time-Tested Gear for Superior Distance Running” for some more gift ideas for runners!
Don’t miss the next two installments of my Gift Guide. Next up we have great gifts for Disney fans followed by perfect gifts for the travelers in your life.
Great blog, gave me lots of ideas for the runner in my life.
Great post you got here, love the idea, especially the wireless headphone, love it! XOXO

I will definitely keep this in mind for running friends!
I am definitely not a runner especially with all my SI joint and adductor issues. I do like those wireless headphones though. Also, got some great ideas for my runner friends!
